Customer Services Team Leader
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Customer Services Team to ensure that the Society offers a personalised, seamless and compliant service to its customers which is seen as “best in class”. This is a great opportunity for a strong team leader who enjoys managing people and is committed to excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who has successfully held a similar role in a customer-facing environment. So, if you would like to work amongst passionate individuals who have the Society’s motto of “doing the right thing” as the core to everything we do, we would love to hear from you. Whilst it is necessary to have people management experience, operational and regulatory training will be provided.

Leading, managing and developing the Customer Services Assistants
Proactively organising the team’s operational work load and breaks
Adopting and encouraging continuous improvement within the department and the wider Society
Being the product champion within the Society and ensuring the full range of products are known
Proactively managing escalated customer queries and customer complaints.
Previous experience in a similar, customer-facing role – ideally within a Building Society or Bank
Successfully managed a team of people including operational work allocation
A commitment to exceptional customer service and the inclination to progress and manage change
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) with the ability to manipulate and analyse data
A minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or equivalent (essential).
