Buckinghamshire Building Society is looking to recruit a highly self motivated individual to join our Sales Team as a Key Accounts Manager covering the Midlands and North of England.

You will be joining an organisation that is highly respected within the Intermediary Mortgage Market, which has a unique lending approach which allows our underwriters to have discretion to agree mortgages up to £500k without any referral process. This resulted in the Society significantly growing its mortgage book in 2019.

The main responsibilities of the Key Accounts Manager will include:

  • Identifying and delivering new opportunities, with a view to building and maintaining long term broker relationships

  • Attending conferences and events as necessary

  • Work with relevant teams to develop new business proposals that support the Society’s Intermediary Strategy. 

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a comparable role (preferably within a similar financial services institution)

  • The ability to provide insight into the wider Intermediary mortgage market

  • Presentation skills (internal and external customers)

  • Experience of remote working

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

  • The ability to assimilate information and make timely accurate decisions

  • Completed CeMAP qualification – levels 1, 2 and 3 (desirable)

This role requires the ideal candidate to maintain a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel extensively throughout England and Wales including overnight stays as neccessary.
