This year, approximately 1,200 members voted on the matters considered at the Annual General Meeting, being just over 15% of the Society’s eligible membership. The votes received included those voting in person at the meeting itself and those who chose to vote through the submission of Appointment of Proxy and Voting forms, either through the post or by using the Society’s online voting facility.
The table here shows the total number of votes cast. Members voted overwhelmingly in support of the resolutions and approved all of the director re-elections.
To ensure fairness and accuracy, the AGM vote was scrutinised independently by Electoral Reform Services.
Based on the number of votes received the Society will shortly be making a donation to the Chiltern Foodbank of £500.
