Operations Administrator

The Role

The Buckinghamshire Building Society is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join its busy operations department. In this challenging and varied role, you will be a key member of the administration team, assisting in both our Savings and Mortgage departments from initial application to completion. It is a great opportunity for someone with excellent administration and customer service skills who is seeking an interesting, varied role in financial services. The main responsibilities of the Operations Administrator will include:

• General office administration
• Accurately inputting data into bespoke data management systems and Excel
• Communicating with the Society’s customers, both current and prospective, and providing required information in a timely and appropriate format
• Undertaking all aspects of savings and mortgage administration relating to new and existing members
• Proactively following up with solicitors, brokers etc to request additional information where required

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience of working in an administrative capacity within an office environment
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work as part of a team and liaise with various other departments within the business.
• A can-do attitude and active team player prepared to “go the extra mile”
• The ability to react quickly, calmly and professionally in a busy office
