Community

As a mutually owned society, our community roots are the foundation of our society. We always prioritise the “Greater Good” across every part of our Society. This applies to the products we offer, the quality of service we deliver to our members, and the way we look after our colleagues.

At its core, however, we believe that committing to the “Greater Good” means to be actively engaged members of our local community, to extend our support to Buckinghamshire causes that align with our Society purpose, to partner with Buckinghamshire-based initiatives and campaigns that promote local businesses. We are also working to ensure we are considerate of our impact on the environment.

…in Chalfont St Giles! Taking part and supporting a range of events such as the annual summer show,  literary festival and village Christmas light event.

…in Bucks! Working with Heart of Bucks where YOU our member can vote for a local charity that we donate to every year from our member led purpose aligned fund. We also make a donation to a local food bank based on YOUR votes at the AGM and we're working with our colleagues on a new Local Community fund, donations from which will go to local community cause.
