Buckinghamshire Building Society is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Gray as Non-Executive Director, effective January 2026.
Formerly an engineering officer in the Royal Navy, Kevin served for six years, before moving into civilian life in 1993 to begin accountancy training within the Bristol audit practice of Arthur Andersen. Kevin is now a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
In 1998, Kevin joined Bath Building Society as Society Secretary. He became Finance Director and Head of Savings in 2004 and was appointed Chief Executive in 2018. After six successful years in the role, he retired from the Bath Board in March 2024. With more than a quarter-century of experience in the building society sector, Kevin brings deep expertise across finance, governance, savings and strategy. He is particularly passionate about the role of regional societies and understands the challenges and opportunities facing member-owned organisations during a period of rapid change and investment.
