Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s AGM and how our members continue to shape the Society.
On Thursday 24th April 2025, we were pleased to welcome members, colleagues and guests to the 118th Annual General Meeting of Buckinghamshire Building Society, held at The Hub in Chalfont St Peter.
As always, our AGM is a moment to reflect on the year gone by, share our vision for the future and most importantly, connect with the members who make everything we do possible.
A Moment of Reflection and Purpose
This year’s meeting highlighted both the progress we’ve made and the enduring values that guide us. Our Chair and CEO outlined our financial performance, community contributions and future plans in their updates - all with a strong focus on embracing member value, stability and our continued investment in people and technology.

118 years of putting our members first
We were especially proud to share stories from the past year that reflect our values in action, from our support of local events and charities, to innovations that make saving or applying for a mortgage simpler and more accessible.
As a mutual organisation with no external shareholders, every decision we make is with our members in mind. That’s what makes meetings like this so special: they’re about listening, learning and working together to build something better.
Thank You
We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended the meeting, voted, asked questions or simply continues to support the Society throughout the year.
Your engagement ensures that Buckinghamshire Building Society remains not only financially strong but truly member-led …just as it has been since 1907.
As we move forward, we remain committed to serving you with care, clarity and consistency - in person, online and always in your best interest.
Here’s to continuing our journey together, the Bucks Way.
