Our CEO, Dan Wass, will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in aid of Citizens Advice Bucks on Sunday 6th of April!
The route will take Dan from Whitehall all the way to the finish line in Trafalgar Square, passing iconic landmarks such as the London Eye, the Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral! By participating in the marathon, Dan hopes to raise awareness and much-needed funds for the essential services provided by Citizens Advice Bucks, which play a critical role in supporting individuals and families during challenging times.
“Buckinghamshire Building Society has partnered Citizens Advice Bucks for some time to support a range of needs in the local community. The cost-of-living crisis has hit parts of Buckinghamshire hard, particularly families. Some are struggling to pay their bills, put food on the table, and keep their homes warm, others are facing housing issues that put them at risk of homelessness often compounded by mounting debt. I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds for the work that CAB Bucks does to provide free, confidential advice to those facing tough times in Buckinghamshire.” – Dan Wass
