The next Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Buckinghamshire Building Society will be held on Wed 21 April 2021 at 3pm at The Head Office, Buckinghamshire Building Society, High Street, Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire HP8 4QB.
The Society has donated a further £2,250 to the Heart of Bucks Coronavirus Stabilisation Fund.
The Society has donated £1,000 to Wycombe Homeless Connection (WHC), In lieu of the usual Christmas collection of goods for the charity.
We were pleased to once again support our local village’s annual Christmas lighting event, which took place on 28 November.
We are proud to be one of the five founding investors of the new Heart of Bucks “Community Investor Fund”, which was launched on 4th November 2020. The fund enables businesses to support the community where they work, helping the Buckinghamshire organisations, community groups and charities that need support following a turbulent year.
We have made a donation of £250 to Bucks Search and Rescue (BSAR). This contribution will help the charity continue to provide essential support to the Buckinghamshire community. Volunteers from the charity are available 24/7, 365 days a year to assist Thames Valley Police in looking for missing people in the region.
Following on from the continuing donations of Buckinghamshire Building Society to local charities via its close relationship with Heart of Bucks, the staff of the Society have made a further direct donation of £430, this time to the Bucks Coronavirus Stabilisation Fund.
Claire Askham recently joined the Buckinghamshire Building Society, as our new Key Account Manager, North of England. This is a new role for the Society, and will help to build and grow our intermediary mortgage business in the North of England.
Pace children’s charity in Aylesbury was awarded a charitable donation of £6,000 from the Society at the AGM. This will help them to continue to deliver their life-changing work during this difficult time.

Buckinghamshire Building Society has made a £2,500 donation to the Heart of Bucks Coronavirus Response Appeal which launched last month. The appeal was set up to support people and charities in Buckinghamshire who are most affected and vulnerable at this time of crisis.
We enjoyed meeting lots of small businesses and charities from across the region and appreciated visitors taking the time to come and speak to us. We hope that attendees and exhibitors found the day as worthwhile and informative as we did.
